36 people were in the church hall for the first wine tasting for two years. Hosted as in most previous years by Steve Nunn, ably supported by his wife Chris. Eight wines were made available, from a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, to the highlight of the evening, a 2013 vintage claret. Most of the wines were very well received and the whole evening was held in a particularly friendly environment. After the wines members were able to enjoy sausage rolls and mince pies. Finally, the raffle, which made in excess of £70 for club funds was drawn and the latest draw for the draw club was held. A very enjoyable evening overall.
