A fantastic day out

 

" A total of 12 Twinners and 1 guest met outside Black Shuck Distillery in Fakenham on 5th July.

We arrived at 11 am and were treated to a tasting of various gins produced by Black Shuck over the years since they started in 2012.

Our hosts and the owners Patrick & Sarah made us all very welcome explaining the various botanicals used in each gin as well as lots of very interesting facts about the history of gin and other spirits. Some of our party then went into the distilling room while the others carried on with tasting other products until the others returned and we changed places.

We finally left around 2pm after spending an excellent and informative 3 hours with several members of our group taking the opportunity to purchase various bottles to help remind them of the visit.

Most of our group then went to The Limes public house to enjoy lunch together before all making their own way home"
